Support the Louisville Institute Staff in Transition
Donation protected
In the photo above, Louisville Institute staff members Keri, Jessica, Briana, and Aimee are sitting in the basement of their office building on the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary campus, working for the good of the Louisville Institute during a tornado warning. That was September 24, 2024.
On Tuesday, October 15, all of us were fired from our jobs as part of a "restructuring" of the Louisville Institute. We immediately lost access to our email and computer systems, and were forced to pack our offices and leave campus by the end of the day.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we've received since being terminated – it has kept us sane through this incredibly painful time. Many of you have asked how you can help further, and one way is to assist with immediate expenses (such as COBRA health insurance) and other costs of this transition as we discern what we will each do next.
Any donations to this fund will go directly to the four Louisville Institute staff members who were fired and will be divided among us according to needs (some folks have kids, some folks have medical bills, etc.). We are completely united in our support for each other and in making sure everyone will be taken care of financially in this difficult season.
We cannot begin to thank you all for your outreach and love – we love you back!
