Support the LOVE FEARLESSLY UT Trailblazer Bison Project

I am spearheading a project to commission an LGBTQ+-themed “Love Fearlessly” Trailblazer Bison adorned with rainbow motifs to promote diversity and LGBTQ+ visibility in our community of St. George.

This will be the last of the 30 Utah Tech University bisons, and it will also be the most meaningful and beautiful one we believe.

Susan Plouzek, an accomplished and well-known local artist, will create the beautiful rainbow artwork that includes 20 LGBTQ+ forward phrases. Encircle of St. George has agreed to a permanent location for the rainbow-themed bison in front of their property on the corner of 200 South and 100 East, and we have City and Utah Tech approvals. We are aiming for mid-November for installation of the finished bison.

The cost amounts to $11,000, plus $1,000 for landscaping and professional installation. There will be a plaque showing the title “Love Fearlessly” and listing as sponsors “St. George Area LGBTQ+ Community.” I have already contributed and/or raised $4,000.
