Support the Lupo Family

As you know we lost our sweet friend, Michael “Mikey” Lupo earlier this week. Mikey was loved by so many. He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, student and so much more. He touched so many lives in his short 12 years on earth and he will be missed terribly by everyone who knew and loved him.

There has been an outpouring of support and people reaching out to see how they can help the Lupo family; we have come up with two options for anyone that is interested.

The money that we collect here will go to a memorial we will set up in Mikey’s honor at a local park in Park Ridge. This will include a bench, tree and possibly garden. Any leftover money will be donated to a foundation of Mike and Melissa’s choice. Ronald McDonald House Charities and Project Bubaloo are two that are very close to their heart.

Send a “Meal”

We are not going to set up a formal meal train as it does not fit the family’s needs directly at this time. We are asking for gift cards in lieu of a meal to any of the following places:

UberEats, HomeChef, Blue Apron, DoorDash, Mariano’s, Sonny’s Express, Maria’s Mexican Restaurant, Devon Avenue Meats, Shakou or Dunkin Donuts.

The Lupo family is greatly appreciative of all the love and support that has been shown to them. Every call, text message and prayer has been felt and means more to them than you can ever imagine. Thank you to each and every one of you, it means so much to Mike, Melissa and Lea.
