Support the Marathon: Computers for African Schools

Help us raise $50,000 by October 30 to put on an international online marathon to bridge the digital divide in African schools.

We are organizing a global online marathon, "A Computer Class for Every School" on November 20, 2024, to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child and highlight the urgent need to provide gently used computers to over 450,000 schools in Africa.

250 million young boys and girls are deprived of basic computer literacy, a critical skill to bridge the growing digital divide. Hosted by the Global Alliance for ICT and Development, this event aims to launch international dialogue on children’s rights and equitable access to education.
