Supporting the Maroroa Jones Family

Please note: This fundraiser has been set up by friends of the family and other close communities.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share that Sue Maroroa Jones has passed away.

Loving wife of Gawain Jones and an incredible and cherished mother to Samaria and newborn baby Daniel. The beloved daughter of the late Temu Maroroa and Suee Lee Maroroa and sister of Andrew Maroroa, Sue leaves behind a loving family who will miss her greatly.

Sue touched the lives of many throughout various communities all over the world, and we’ve had a lot of people getting in touch asking how they can offer support. For those that have requested the ability to support the family financially, we have set up this GoFundMe page.

The money raised will be used to support Sue & Gawain’s two children, Samaria and Daniel, to help with their care over the coming months and years.

We have increased the target given the reach this has had. We don't have a specific target in mind, but originally set an arbitrary one for the GoFundMe. All money will go to the long-term support of Sue and Ga's children, so any and all contributions are hugely appreciated, and we are blown away by the generosity so far.
