Support the Martinez Family Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

On September 27, during Hurricane Helene in Valdosta, Georgia, the Martinez family—Chris, Erica, and their 18-month-old twins, Luke and Luna—suffered devastating damage to their home. The storm surge tore through their roof, causing extensive destruction inside.

 

As the hurricane raged, Chris and Erica experienced the terrifying ordeal of watching helplessly as water poured into their home. As the ceiling began peeling, bubbling, and eventually bursting with water, they fled to their bedroom with their babies, praying for safety. Though they thankfully made it through unharmed, their home and personal belongings were destroyed.

They are deeply grateful to God for keeping their family safe. However, the damage to their home and personal belongings is overwhelming. What has been most heartbreaking for the family is seeing all of their babies' possessions completely ruined.

We are asking for your help to provide the basic necessities as the Martinez family begins the daunting process of rebuilding their lives. Chris, an active-duty airman, is scheduled for mandatory training soon. It’s critical that his wife, Erica, and their twins have a safe, functional home before he leaves.

 

Chris and his father have been working tirelessly to clear debris, but they face a long road ahead. With insurance assistance delayed, they urgently need help.
