Support the Maxwells

Kurt and Becky Maxwell’s love story is straight from a storybook. Highschool sweethearts that reunited decades later. Their friendship, love of music, and shared adventures have fueled their marriage despite Kurt’s diagnosis of cancer shortly after they found each other again. Kurt has been fighting like hell through chemo and experimental trials, but unfortunately, the cancer has taken over (again) and this time, there aren’t any other treatment options. Becky’s job is protected through FMLA, but that comes with zero salary compensation. Everyone asks, “What can I do? How can I help?” Well, we, the Maxwell’s “village” of friends, family, co-workers, band-mates, neighbors, brothers and sisters in Christ, can help financially to allow Becky to take that leave of absence to be by her husband’s side for the time he has left on this Earth. We can lift them up by removing the burden of worry about rent, car payments, and bills (for the next few months at least) and to instead allow them to focus on each other, on making Kurt as comfortable as possible and for them to feel the love of their community around them. In addition to sending prayers, let’s also walk-the-walk and show up for the Maxwell’s in this tangible way. Please donate what you can. Please share this link on your Facebook account.
