Support the McFarland Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
As many of you know, Greg McFarland was in a serious car accident on July 15, 2024. Below is Michelle McFarland’s (Greg’s wife) personal message she shared on Facebook and would like to share on this platform as well.
Unfortunately, he sustained very serious injuries that he is not going to be able to recover from.
Anyone who knew Greg, knows that he was a big teddy bear. Everyone loved him. Fortunately, he made the selfless decision to be an organ donor. We are waiting to hear but they believe he will be able to donate his heart, kidneys and maybe more.
Many of you may not know because he was very private about it, but he struggled with his mental health. He was working hard and had made huge strides in dealing with this. He should have had more time but he would have been the first one to say if you are struggling don’t be afraid to get help. There are people out there that want to help.
I cannot express how thankful I am for the outpouring of support that we have already received. I’ve had so many people reach out about how they can help. My family and my village has already started filling my fridge so if you would like to help, a restaurant gift card would be great (and anybody who knows me, knows that that is very hard for me to even say.) I don’t want anybody’s meals to go to waste.
If you feel like you would like to support the McFarland family in an additional way, the family has requested donations be made through this GoFund to help cover related medical and funeral expenses and support Michelle and their two kids Brian and Katelyn.
