Support The McGregor Family In The Aftermath Of LA Fires

Amanda, Isamu, their two little girls Charlie and Quinn, and their furry friends were displaced from their home on Tuesday night due to the Eaton Fire. They happened to look out the window minutes after the fire started five blocks away from their home, and saw flames rapidly spreading across the hillside. They immediately grabbed their girls, animals, and ran. Amanda and Isamu have spent the last number of years building a homestead of their dreams in the Altadena foothills, across the street from Eaton Canyon. They brought their two beautiful daughters home to this space and have cultivated a warm and welcoming home to dogs, bunnies, chickens, and humans alike as their hospitality overflows.

Altadena has been devastated and covered in ash and debris, and their personal belongings are unsalvageable due to smoke damage. The house is miraculously still standing as of now, but they are currently unable to return to their home, a mandate from the National Guard. The reality is that the entire infrastructure will need to be rebuilt before it is feasible for them to go back and there is no definitive timeline currently.

Amanda and Isamu are beloved in our musician community as well as in their personal friendships and relationships. Those who know them know these two are kind, funny, hardworking, and incredibly dedicated people.

So many were/are affected by these disasters. It's devastating, and we understand an overwhelming number of people are in need and have experienced intense trauma. We also know there is an overwhelming amount of support from our outside community. This is the time to come together and show up for those in need more than ever.
