Support the McPherson family

On November 11th, 2023 the McPherson family’s lives were changed forever when their oldest son Cole went fishing with 2 of his friends on Sproat lake and drowned after their canoe sunk.

Cole loved any kind of activity that got him outdoors. He loved snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking camping and fishing. Cole had a bright future ahead of him. After graduating in June, he planned on studying astrophysics.

Cole was friends with a large variety of people, he had a loving girlfriend and was an awesome big brother to his younger brother Carter and younger Sister Holly.

On top of dealing with the devastation of losing their son, Coles parents Barb and Bryce are also going to be facing large costs associated with Cole’s celebration of life.

Barb and Bryce own their own contracting business, so they do not have the luxury of taking bereavement leave. The time that they need to take to help cope with this loss will be unpaid.
