Support The Medrano Family After Eaton Fire

As some of you may know, my brother Eddie, his wife Lilia, and his two daughters, Dali and Livi, have lost their home in the Eaton fire on 1/8/24. As they evacuated in the early morning, they prioritized the safety of their daughters and only left with an overnight bag. They held on to hopes of returning in the morning to gather more of their belongings. Unfortunately, the fire got to their neighborhood within hours of their evacuation, and they were only able to return to a lot of ash. Their family lost everything.

As they continue to navigate through this unfortunate circumstance, I am starting a fund to support them cover any unexpected cost that may arise in this tough time. They have been part of the Altadena community since 2009. They loved their home; but most importantly they enjoyed sharing that love with all their family and friends by hosting many gatherings so we could swim, eat and enjoy great company. Through the last 15 years they put so much hard work and love into their family home, and it is devastating to see it all gone.

The next few years are going to be difficult for their family and as they navigate through uncertainty. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. All donations will go directly to the Eddie and Lilia and will be used at the sole discretion of the family. The family is overwhelmed with the amount of family and friends who have reached out and offered assistance, we thought a go fund me was best to aid the family to get back on their feet as funds will go directly to Eddie and Lilia.

Eddie and Lilia appreciate all their friends, family, school and the softball community who has reached out to check in on them. We are all truly touched by everyone's love, support and prayers. Thank you for helping them get through this difficult time.
