Support the Milam Family's Home Recovery

My name is Tori Abernethy, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friends, Lamar and Sara Milam. Along with many others, their Charlotte home was devastated by over 17 feet of water from the Catawba River during Hurricane Helene. While we thank the Lord for their safety, the impact to their home has been catastrophic, leaving them with structural damage and extensive contamination from the toxic flood waters.

Lamar and Sara are in need of our help. We’re aiming to raise $10,000 to assist them with the cost of replacing essential items, furniture, and repairing the damage to their home that insurance isn’t covering.

Every contribution will make a difference in their life and in the life of their son Porter. Just as a single drop of rain started this tragic flood, so too can a single donation begin a flood of blessing for our sweet friends.
