Support the Miller Family in Honor of David Alan Miller, Jr.

Donation protected
Greetings,

It is with heavy hearts that we launch this fundraising campaign in honor of our dearest friend Lauren Miller and her family, as they mourn the devastating loss of her beloved husband, Dave Miller.

On December 8, 2024, David Alan Miller, Jr., passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41 in Rolesville, North Carolina. Dave was an extraordinary husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who brought joy and love to all who knew him. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lauren, and their young daughter, Sophia, who now face the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding their lives without him.

Dave’s passion and warmth were truly remarkable. Whether cheering on the New York Jets, sharing his love for board games, fishing with friends, or creating memorable family meals, his infectious joy made every moment brighter. Professionally, Dave was a brilliant microbiologist who left a lasting impact in medical technology through his work at esteemed organizations like Pfizer and MEDInstill.

Dave’s sudden passing has not only left a profound emotional void but also placed a significant financial burden on Lauren and Sophia as they navigate funeral expenses and the transition ahead.

We are reaching out to our community, near and far, to ask for your support. Contributions will go toward covering funeral costs, memorial arrangements, and easing the financial strain on Lauren and Sophia during this time of grief.

Dave will be cremated and placed in a Jets-themed vault, a tribute to his lifelong fandom, with some of his ashes buried in NY at a later date.

A Celebration of Life for Dave, will be held on Sunday, December 15th at 11 a.m. at Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, North Carolina, for immediate family, friends, and colleagues. Additionally, a formal Memorial Service will take place in Dave's hometown at The Christian Church of Charleston Four Corners, NY on Saturday, Decemeber 21st at 11 a.m. for extended family and childhood friends. More details will soon be available for both Memorials as well as for an informal tribute to Dave in Norwalk, Connecticut, where the Millers first settled as a family.

Whether you’re able to contribute now or in the future, any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and honor Dave’s memory by supporting the family he loved so deeply.

We understand the holidays are approaching, and not everyone may be in a position to donate. If you’re unable to give, we kindly ask that you consider sharing this page to help spread the word.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Morgan Gray & Elisa Noble
