Support the Mohler family, to heal and recover

Cora has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease and 2 co-infections. She has been constantly sick with fever, chills, sinus infections, breast infections, extensive joint pain, loss of balance, loss of hormonal function within her body, and extensive weight loss that seems impossible to regain no matter how much she eats. Her red blood cells started to change their shape and die early so her ability for them to carry nutrients and oxygen has become severely compromised. Her bone marrow has been damaged to the point where she cannot even create healthy blood cells from the beginning of inception. She developed cysts in her kidneys, an enlarged liver and polyps on her gallbladder, extensive endometriosis and adenomyosis that resulted in urgent surgery due to extensive internal bleeding and has also been battling seizures which have gotten progressively worse over the past 4 years. Further organ damage or her bone marrow problems will result in leukemia if she is not able to achieve remission soon enough.

Currently, there is no cure for Lyme disease but there is hope for remission. Cora is seeking treatment in Mexico from one of the directors of the International Lyme Associated Disease Society (ILADS), which is utilizing clinical-based trials to treat Lyme and put it into remission quicker and more efficiently than any services offered in the United States. With this treatment, she has a fighting chance. The treatment is expected to be 2 months or more depending on her response to the treatment.

We are requesting assistance for Cora and her beautiful family as they heal together.

- $20,000 for treatment & medical testing in 2022 to date

- $41,000 for initial Lyme disease and 2 co-infection medical treatment

- $8,000 for lodging and transportation for treatment

- $6,500 additional testing for Cora during treatment

- $4,000 for kids to travel and be Lyme tested in Mexico, less expensive and can see their mother during 2 months of treatment.

We are requesting that the community comes together (again) to help support this family. We think it is pertinent to mention that the initial gofundme that was launched shortly after Emily Mohler’s death was divided amongst her children, to support their individual needs.

Cora is the backbone, mother and wife, of this loving resilient family, and an integral part of this community. Please provide your support as you can with donations and prayers. We realize that our fundraising goal is steep, and we don't necessarily expect to achieve that goal. However, any assistance is greatly appreciated, and will help offset the mountain of bills that have been incurred.
