Support the Mongol Derby Dream Journey

I know there is so much going on in the world right now that this seems insignificant, but I am raising money to help fund my trip to the Mongol Derby.

The Mongol Derby is the longest & toughest horse race in the world. It crosses the largest empire in human history. It covers the path Genhis Khan trailed and at its height, Genghis Khan’s mighty horse messenger system connected half the planet.

In this event, you square up to 1000km of Mongolian steppe on semi-wild horses, changing steeds every 40km. You navigate and survive on your own wits and skill, living among the herders.

I have followed the Mongol Derby since it started back in 2013. I have always wanted to be a part of it, but never had the guts to pursue it!

Last year, as I was laying in bed with a broken leg and heartbroken over the end of a relationship that meant the world to me, I decided to send in an application. It might sound crazy, sending in an application when I couldn’t even walk, but I needed a reason to not give up!

Fast forward to today, and I have gone through the interview process and have been selected!

The race is a lifetime of dreams for me. I am going to push myself to the limits and challenge myself in ways I never thought possible!

The money raised will go directly into the monthly payments of $1,200 every month until June 2025, a month before the race. I will be planning other ways to raise money and find sponsorships, but every little bit helps!

I know there are so many important things going on in the world today and this is insignificant in the big picture, but every cent will help to make this dream come true and I promise to make everyone proud in this event.
