Help the Moore Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
On the evening of April 2nd, tragedy struck the Moore family’s home at 1036 Mopsick Ave in Linden, NJ. What began as a normal night quickly turned into a heartbreaking disaster when a fire ripped through their home, leaving behind complete destruction.
The fire consumed nearly everything, reducing cherished belongings, family memories, and the home itself to ruins. As seen in the photos, the damage is extensive—walls, furniture, and the structure itself are unrecognizable, scorched beyond repair.
Tragically, one family member suffered second-degree burns and is currently recovering. Even more heartbreaking, the family’s beloved pet did not survive the fire. The emotional toll of losing their companion and the place they called home is immeasurable.
This fundraiser has been created to support the Moore family in this time of unimaginable loss. Donations will go directly toward:
• Temporary housing and daily living essentials
• Medical care for the injured family member
• Replacing personal belongings and household items
• Memorial costs for their beloved pet
• Support in rebuilding their lives from the ground up
The City of Linden, NJ, has shown immense compassion and support, and we invite you to join the effort. For additional information, photos, and updates shared by the community, please visit this Facebook post:
