Support the Nau Brothers & Max After Arson Destroys Home
Donation protected
**UPDATE** - Max is not maintaining oxygen levels when taken off oxygen. Xrays indicate a poor prognosis. He is on steroids, nebulizer and sedatives. The financial struggle and decision making is becoming much more real now. Thank you so much already for the quick outpouring of generosity. We are humbled. **
I am raising support for my two younger brothers, whose home was senselessly burned down last evening by an arsonist. They have lost everything, to include the vehicles belonging to Erik (the homeowner), which is the insidious nature of a residential fire. Erik's dog Max, was brought out unconscious and near death by Fire Fighters. He has been in doggy ICU and is looking to recover with time. Thankfully most of Trevor's irreplaceable Marine Corp memorabilia was not inside.
The costs for veterinary bills and rebuilding is going to be substantial. These are two upstanding and fine men who had everything turned upside down while they simply stepped out for a slice. They have served their country and community in different capacities and come from a family that has always served.
On that note of service, my respect and admiration goes out to my brothers/sisters in Blue and Red. Their successful apprehension of an armed suspect, the last second rescue of Max, and their preservation of life/safety demonstrates the teamwork of the Colorado Springs Fire and Police Departments. It is to be commended.
My sincerest thanks and heartfelt love to all those friends, family, co-workers and strangers that are able to contribute....even if it's simply prayer to our Lord and Savior. You never think these things will happen to you or those you love, until they do.
