My name is Briana Navarro. a long time resident of Altadena, California. I shared a home with my 2 daughters, husband Fermin Navarro and grandmother Erliene Kelley, who's owned the home for 40+ years.

We made the choice to evacuate on Tuesday night, however my grandmother decided she wanted to stay. After we left, I asked my dad to go to the house to check on her.. and again, she said she was going to stay at home. She said "It's in God's hands."

My dad drove to the house early Wednesday morning. He called me saying that our family home and it was completely destroyed. We seen a post on X which listed our address, stating that our house was on fire and someone had been trapped inside. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away in the incident, which has officially been confirmed by police on January 10th.

We have lost everything due to the fire and are truly devastated having to deal with this immense loss. We'd appreciate your willingness to help, if you are able to. Thank you deeply.
