Support The North Warehouse

On Christmas at 4am, cameras in our East Annex venue that we have been working hard to open caught three men in black hoodies robbing us. They stole pretty much every power tool we had: welder, plasma cutter, drills, saws, roto-hammers, impacts, nail guns, chainsaws as well as sound equipment, various concert lighting fixtures, and much more that we aren’t even aware of yet.

It was really an awful feeling to meet police and find the venue we have all worked so hard on to help rebuild was robbed on Christmas.

When we took over the warehouse in January 2020, we knew bringing this space to the community would be challenging. However, we could not foresee how difficult it would be. For two years we struggled to pay rent over the pandemic with no government support. We were finally allowed to try to throw events to hopefully work our way out of debt and continue giving back to our community. Now we are really in trouble. We hope insurance covers some of this gear but it won't cover all of it.

Building and maintaining an independent venue is extremely difficult - you may notice there's not many like us left. We have put blood, sweat, and tears into this space, and without our tools may not be able to keep this project afloat. We recognize from the public's viewpoint venues seem to make a ton of money. Unfortunately, quite the opposite is true. We have been doing everything in our power to keep this community space open, and now we are calling on our community to support us through this experience.

We are really praying there is a much brighter 2022 ahead for us all.

Here is the video footage of the robbery that we do have. If you have ANY information please reach out to us!   https://www.facebook.com/scott.mcelroy.587/videos/2733118470168145/

How we plan on using the donations:
1. Replacing all of the tools stolen from employees, followed by the tools stolen from the owner.
2. Replacing all of the stolen lighting and sound equipment.
3. Replacing any other stolen items as we finish understanding the extent of the damage.
4. Any additional donations will go towards maintaining and updating both The North Warehouse and East Annex - which will directly improve your experience as an attendee.

All donations will go directly into the business account for The North Warehouse, guaranteeing every penny will go towards the venue and the replacement of stolen items.
