Our friend, Dylan Peterson, age 32, died after a tragic and unexpected accident on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. He was healthy and vibrant, giving and kind. He provided for his family. He was a friend and mentor to so many. He loved the Lord.
In his short time with us, Dylan had a rich life and touched the heart of countless others. Please forgive the cliché, but to know him was, quite honestly, to love him. One could not help but feel affection and affinity toward Dylan.
He heroically served his country in Iraq. As a Crew Chief of Marine helicopter gunships, Dylan's job was to protect fellow soldiers from enemy ambush. He risked his own life time and time again to ensure his brothers in arms could carry out their mission. There is no way to know how many of his protectees would return home safely to their own families due to his service.

Although Dylan left to be with the Lord, he's survived by his wife, Katelynn Peterson, two beautiful little girls and their unborn child. He is also survived by his parents, Kevin and Julie, as well as his siblings Brady, Kyle, and Taylor.

If you were fortunate to know this wonderful man, you understand what a loss the family is enduring. You know how much love he had to give and how the affection he had for his wife and children was truly beautiful.
Friends and family of The Peterson's are coming together to support Katelynn and the girls during this time. There are two specific ways we ask you to be a part of this. First, and most importantly, you can love them and lift them up in prayer during this difficult time. Please pray that God gives them peace and comfort as they grieve this loss. Second, please provide a financial gift here to ease the burden Katelynn must bear without her provider and soulmate.
