Support the Petty Family in Their Time of Need

My name is Brittany Petty, and I am the daughter-in-law of Raymond Petty, Jr. My father-in-law passed away suddenly on 11/24/24 at our home. He was 73 years old. He was a very kind, funny, respectful, and sport-loving person. He was paralyzed almost 6 years ago and our family has been helping to take care of him.

My brother-in-law and I had to do CPR on my father-in-law because he was not breathing and did not look well. I called 911 and continued with CPR until the paramedics came to the house. They said his death was quick and not painful for him. It was sudden, the family was not prepared for the sudden loss of a family.

I am creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of my husband, Jeremy Petty, and my mother-in-law, Nina Petty. We are seeking the support of our friends, family, and community to help my husband and mother-in-law with funeral expenses and to honor Randy’s memory in a way that reflects the wonderful person he was. Every donation, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated and will help us during this incredibly challenging time.

We will have more finalized details hopefully soon from the funeral home. I will be able to update and provide updates about his funeral services.
