Support the Pino Family After The Tragic Loss

Dearest Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

On August 27th, 2023, our dear friend Luis Pino was admitted to UHealth Hospital with a diagnosis of Necrotizing Pancreatitis. Within hours, the situation escalated and things took a turn for the worse. Despite the best care possible and the love and support of so many, Luis was unable to recover, and his battle came to a very unexpected end on September 1st.

As many of you know firsthand, Luis was an exceptional husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, attorney, and much more. He leaves behind his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Kristie, energetic 4-year-old son (and best friend), Daniel Jay, and his beautiful 8-month-old princess Cameron among many other friends and family.

Given the impact that this beautiful young family has had on us all, many have asked how they can help ease this tragic loss. We have started this GoFundMe with the express purpose of helping Kristie, whose storybook tale of love started at the infamous fence between Columbus and St. Brendan High Schools and flourished into a beautiful life and family. No one could have predicted such a sudden and untimely end or all of the sudden expenses that have only just started to add up.

There is no way to accurately express the gratitude that Kristie feels for everyone who has shown her love, compassion, and kindness, especially during this last week. If you find yourself in a position to do so, any contribution to this fund, no matter the size, would be immensely appreciated as well. Our hope is that these funds can go a long way to help carry the burden of funeral costs, bills, and more so she can focus on pouring her life into getting herself and their kids through this terrible loss.
