Support the Potts from Andy's open-heart surgery

My name is Tracy Parler. I am creating this fund on behalf of our dear friends Andy aka Iron Man and Brittany Potts!

Andy is a loving husband to Brittany, an amazing father to four (4) beautiful children, 3 boys and 1 girl ranging from the ages of 4 to 10, and friend is facing a serious health battle! This fundraiser will hopefully allow the family to concentrate on his healing and rehabilitation, without the worry of any additional financial stress.

Andy had open heart surgery yesterday, December 9th for the 2nd time in 6 years. They discovered that his mechanical heart valve has become infected by a bacterial infection and unfortunately the only fix was to have major open-heart surgery again. They removed the infected mechanical valve and replaced it with a new tissue valve. They have sent some of the tissue off to be cultured. Andy also has infarction of his kidney, the one and only kidney he has, which is causing it to not have enough blood flow. Andy has already been in the hospital for several days and expected to be in SICU for a few days, then will be moved to the step-down unit as he progresses. Once Andy is discharged from the hospital, he will have a picc line put in, on antibiotic for 6 to 8 weeks and will be out of work while trying to recover.

The funds raised through your donation will be used to help ease the financial burden for Andy and his family over the next few months. Medical expenses, utilities, mortgage, stocking the pantry, paper products, and to get through the holidays will be assisted by the support received here.

Most of us need a helping hand at one point or another, and it’s good for both the giver and receiver to remember that they’re not alone in their moments of need. No matter what challenges may be in your path, you shouldn’t have to worry about missing a meal, denying your children a great Christmas, and or the financial burden that comes with it all.

Almighty God! We ask that you give Andy, Brittany, and their family the strength to get through this difficult time! We look to you for strength and healing over Andy’s body! Shine your face on him and fill him with your life-giving powers! Calm their fears and give them comfort and peace to their minds and his body. We trust and know that you, Jesus carried his sickness and sins to the cross. So, by the power of your blood, we decree and declare that any sickness in his body be gone. We cast out any disease and infection in his body! Let your divine healing flow into every cell of his veins and his blood.

Give Brittany the strength she needs to be able to help care for him and there 4 children, to be his strength when he is weak. Give them the peace knowing they can reach out to those who love and care for them to help carry them through this difficult time.

Lord, we believe in your healing powers and believe that by touching him he will receive the healing through the blood of Jesus Christ. Let this be a testimony to others, this is your story no matter what, allow this time to bring them closer to you. Let them cling to you and know you are an almighty healing God. AMEN!
