Support the Powell Family in Memory of Joseph

My beloved father, Joseph Powell, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024. His passing has sent shockwaves throughout our family, and while we are grieving the loss of our patriarch, we are also relieved to know that his suffering has ended.

My father's story is one I will forever look to for the rest of my life and to be retold for the lives of his future generations of kin. My father risked it all and moved himself and his family here from Jamaica, being the glue and focal point of our family for the decades to come following his initial journey. My father fought tirelessly to provide for each and every family member's needs, despite putting himself at a disadvantage time and time again. Most importantly, my father served as the beacon to remind us that regardless of our differences, our family should stick together as one, because at the end of the day, it was important to support each other, a mindset we find ourselves experiencing during this tragic loss.

This memorial fund will go towards easing the financial burden incurred on my family following my father's untimely passing. Anything provided is more than appreciated, and your support means more than the world, for an unprecedented period of grief our family is feeling.

Memorial Service is expected to be October 19th, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
