Support the Pruitts After LA Fires
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
The recent Los Angeles fires, Lawrence and Melanie Pruitt lost their home in Altadena— a home they had cherished for 44 years. The Pruitts, both retired, have been pillars of the Altadena community, known for their generosity, kindness, and unwavering support for others.
For decades, their home has been a sanctuary for friends, family, and strangers alike— always open to those in need. Melanie dedicated over 35 years as an Elementary teacher in Los Angeles, helping countless children develop a love for learning and guiding them through their formative years. Lawrence, known for his selfless nature, has spent his life assisting anyone who needed help, no questions asked.
Now, the Pruitts find themselves in a position where they can use our support. Although they have homeowners insurance, the immediate challenges they face can be overwhelming.
They were forced to evacuate their home with only the clothes on their backs. As they navigate this incredibly difficult period, we want to come together to help them rebuild and find comfort during their recovery. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference in supporting their efforts to move forward. Thank you for your generosity, love, and support. Your kindness will bring them comfort and hope during this challenging time.
With gratitude,
