Support the Purcell Family

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jamie Riordan. I am incredibly fortunate to call myself Brock Purcell's girlfriend and am lucky enough to call the Purcell's family.

On Tuesday, October 31st, Brock's father, John Purcell, was rushed by ambulance to the Baylor Medical Center in McKinney, TX. Upon his arrival, doctors discovered a significant & large brain bleed, and he underwent emergency surgery shortly after. The surgery was successful in stopping the bleed; however, many major complications have arisen, and John's recovery continues to be a daily struggle as he fights for his life.

This family is the epitome of selfless. John and Julie are hugely active in their community & church and are constantly working to give back to those that need a helping hand. From fundraiser rallies to giving out food to those in need, The Purcell's have embodied love, community, and compassion. Speaking from my own personal experiences, this family has gone above and beyond for me with every single obstacle (small or big) that I have faced since knowing them.

John is still in critical condition in the ICU and therefore not able to work; his family is also taking a lot of time away from work in order to be at his side and assist with his daily needs at the hospital. As we all know, bills pile up so quickly, and as of now we can't be sure what the future will look like for John and his family.

I set up this GoFundMe to give the community that John loves so much an opportunity to support him and his family during this critical time, and to allow for the family to focus 100% on John. I know that if my family was in this situation, The Purcell's would do ALL that they could for me, so I wanted to do all that I could too.

100% of the money raised will go towards John's medical bills, as well as the family's monthly bills and needs to help with covering their time off from work, and any future assistance they may need for John's treatment, therapy, and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and makes a difference.
