Support the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Food Bank

Hi friends and fellow burners,

 

Our village has been on break for two years, but we’re gearing up for a return to the desert this summer. As part of this journey back, Comfort & Joy is pleased to announce the 9th annual fundraiser benefiting the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe. Through this tradition, we acknowledge and materially support the Pyramid Lake Paiute reservation that so graciously hosts us all at the burn every year.

 

This year, as in years past, we’re raising money for the Tribal Food Bank. The health and economic effects of the pandemic remain a problem for the tribe, and this money helps run essential food distribution services on reservation lands. Every tax-deductible donation will directly support the tribal food bank at their new food distribution center in Wadsworth.

We ask those in our community, both from San Francisco and Black Rock City, to join us in this effort to lend a hand and contribute to the services that nourish the local tribe year-round.
