Hello All,
4 weeks ago I ( Sunder) was suddenly diagnosed with a Grade IV brain tumor. I was healthy, I ran multiple half marathons every year and this hit my family and me out of the blue. To say it has been a shock and turned our lives upside down is an understatement.
I am currently on FMLA and undergoing treatment at the Cleveland Clinic for the next 6 weeks, staying in a friend’s house and coming back to Pittsburgh on the weekends as my health permits. My wife, Satya is between jobs and has put her job search on hold to focus on my care full time.
My kids are managing the house and helping me cope with this as best as they can.
I am determined to fight this and regain a normal life, but understand that the road ahead is a tough one. It is one that is fraught with many unknowns and is very nerve racking for my immediate family members. Medical system is vast and powerful and am so lucky to have a wife to help me navigate these waters to the best ability.
Over the years, I have built a strong social connection and have met many wonderful souls on a journey through this planet. I have always been a contributor to the society at large but at this moment I am being a consumer!
I appreciate all the support and help at this time of crisis for my family. Please send all positive thoughts and wishes our way.
We shall be forever indebted to human kind!.
