Supporting the Ransom Family

Captain Travis Ransom of the Union Professional Firefighters Local 5038 has been bravely fighting stage 4 lung cancer for over two years. Recent setbacks in his condition have resulted in Captain Ransom being transferred to The Ohio State University-James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. Always the one to put others first, Travis would never ask for donations himself. Now, Local 5038 is reaching out on his behalf.

Since Travis has passed away, these funds will be used for medical expenses, cover the funeral cost and any other expenses they acquire in the coming months.

Travis has been a dedicated husband to his wife and father to his three children, a committed veteran of the United States Air Force, and a devoted firefighter/paramedic. For over 30 years, he has selflessly served our community and now we are asking for your help in supporting him and his family in this time of need.
