Support The Reids After Devastating Eaton Fire Loss

We are seeking support to help the Reid Family recover from the devastating loss of their Altadena home in the Eaton Fire. Roger and Cheryl Reid, along with their grandson Donny Johnson, have been displaced and are in urgent need of assistance. The Reids adopted Donny when his parents passed away, creating a blended family that has thrived in Altadena for 30 years.

The Reid Family has lost everything in the fire. While we are deeply grateful that they safely evacuated to the greater Los Angeles area, they now face the daunting task of reconstructing their lives from scratch. Your donations will help them through this challenging time as they begin the process of recovery from this tragedy.

Your words of encouragement and prayers mean the world to the Reids during this incredibly difficult time. Roger and Cheryl have been long-time Altadena residents and cherished members of their community. They are active participants at Ward African Methodist Episcopal Church. Mr. Reid, a retired SAG actor, and Mrs. Reid, who worked for many years at the Yellow Pages, have brought joy to countless people through their karaoke business, lovingly known as "Rog-Cher-Oke." Tragically, most of their karaoke equipment was destroyed in the fire.

Unfortunately, this is the second house fire Cheryl has endured. Thankfully, this is the first fire that has not resulted in death to loved ones.
