Support the Revolutionary Housing League
Donation protected
The Revolutionary Housing League has acquisitioned abandoned and vacant buildings to alleviate the suffering of the 10,000 homeless in Ireland, beginning with James Connolly House in May of this year. There are almost 190,000 vacant properties across Ireland that could be used to house all of our people, but due to the criminal policies of the ruling classes in Ireland, they remain unused and abandoned. Landlords, vultures and speculators have been allowed free reign. We are determined to fight back!
The RHL is asking for financial support to expand our campaign and to provide vital resources to those in need. Funds are needed to repair abandoned buildings, provide bedding, food and clothing for those with housing needs and expand outreach efforts. Activists have also incurred legal costs as a result of state efforts to suppress the campaign, with activists due before the courts in the coming weeks. The RHL is also expanding efforts to open more vacant buildings to house those most affected by the housing crisis. Currently, those with housing needs are being housed in acquisitions such as Ionad Sean Heuston on Parkgate St.
Any donations, however small, will help to expand the campaign and continue the work.
