Hello Friends! We are asking you to help a local Gloucester family through this challenging time. Below is the story of David Robicheau, and the medical challenges he has experienced which have severely impacted him and his young family.
Please read, and support them!
Beginning in 2011, Dave's neck started hurting. He's a carpenter, and he pushed through the pain and continued working. In 2017, the pain got much worse, and he was told that he herniated discs in his neck and fluid build up in his spine.
Since 2017, Dave has had several surgeries to repair the damage to his neck and spine, and to relieve his pain. So far, nothing has worked. He now has severe spinal stenosis and a badly damaged spinal cord.
He hasn’t been able to drive since 2018.
Hasn’t worked since 2017.
He stumbles when he walks every couple of steps or so.
He drops things.
He has fallen 10 times since January 2020.
He is in constant pain all the time and nothing eases him.
He’s lost the ability to work, do his hobbies, care for his kids and family.
Our family has struggled with Dave's loss of income, his loss of ability to be the dad and husband we knew, and his sadness and frustration, which we share, over the medical challenges he's faced. It's been a long road, and it looks like there are many more challenges ahead.
We appreciate everyone who has and continues to help us. Thank you all!
