Support the Rosaliks after Kurt's sudden Cardiac Arrest

On December 29th, Poly and Kurt Rosalik’s lives were forever changed.

That night, Kurt suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while sleeping. Poly, who is 8 ½ months pregnant, acted with incredible courage and quick thinking to save his life by performing CPR until paramedics arrived. Just weeks earlier, the couple had taken a CPR course in preparation for their baby’s February arrival—an act of foresight that would prove life-saving.

Kurt was resuscitated and rushed to the ICU, where he was intubated. Over the past several days, he has been making slow but steady progress, including being extubated. However, his journey to recovery will be long and challenging. Once stable enough, Kurt will need to transition to inpatient rehabilitation to rebuild his strength, endurance, and cognitive abilities. The duration of his stay is uncertain.

This young family is facing an unimaginable road ahead—navigating Kurt’s recovery while preparing to welcome their first child into the world. During this time, we are rallying around Poly, Kurt, and their baby-to-be to provide the support they urgently need.
