Support the Samuel T. Castle Memorial Highway

American Legion Post 351 is a 501c19 veterans' fraternal organization, and contributions to the Post are fully tax deductible. The Post is raising funds for the Army Staff Sergeant Samuel T. Castle Memorial Highway initiative. Staff Sergeant Castle was a Hughes Springs native and a graduate of Hughes Springs High School who was killed in action in Iraq in May 2005. Funds raised will pay for the east bound and west bound highway signage between the Daingerfield and Hughes Springs City limits. Approval from the Texas Legislature in 2025 is required to dedicate this section of highway as requested, but funds must come from local governments or through private donations. The Post is committed to completing this initiative exclusively with private donations. Your financial support is greatly appreciated.
