Support the San Carlos Apache affected by the Watch Fire
Donation protected
Known as ‘The worst wildfire the San Carlos Apache Tribe has seen in 30 years’, the “Watch Fire” has ripped through my homeland leaving devastation in its wake. Mr. Terry Rambler, the Chairman of the Apache Tribe, has reported up to 2,200 acres that have been razed by the flames which demolished 20 homes leaving 75 inhabitants homeless. As a result the San Carlos Apache Tribe has declared a State of Emergency and evacuated over 400 residents.
In an effort to help, I have contacted family members from the Tribal Emergency Reservation Committee (TERC) to discuss ways you can donate and support the Apache people. Please consider donating directly to the San Carlos Apace Tribe. These funds will allow the Council Members to assist with rebuilding up to 14 homes, provide essential everyday items to the evacuees, and help the Apache people begin moving forward on this long journey ahead towards restoration and healing of our homeland.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to those volunteers who have sprung into action, offering their time, talents and efforts from around the globe. Your love & support in this endeavor is deeply appreciated. Please continue to keep the San Carlos Apache people in your prayers & share with others!
