Support the Sandifer family

As many of you know, Sam Sandifer lost his son Jamel Sandifer Jr. over the weekend in a terrible act of gun violence. Sam has been a part of the Ford House family for over 20 years. Many of his coworkers have reached out to ask how they can help. With Sam and his family’s permission, we are raising funds to help cover funeral costs. Ford House will match all donations received, up to $5000 in total. Any funds remaining after funeral costs are covered will be set up in a trust for Jamel’s children.

(Note for transparency: for simplicity and expediency, all funds will go to my bank account, I will write checks to the funeral home and/or Sam, with the balance going to the trust. Bodman attorneys generously offered to set it up no charge. I will provide a full accounting to Sam and Ford House of all funds with receipts).
