Texas SCAD Alumni "Rising 'Lone' Star" Scholarship

Each year, the Rising 'Lone' Star Scholarship aims to cover the expenses of sending one deserving high school junior to the five-week Rising Star summer program at Savannah College of Art and Design. This program not only provides valuable college class credits but also helps students build an impressive portfolio, providing a jump to apply to SCAD or any college art program of their choice. It truly launches them into their creative education and careers.

The Rising Star program at SCAD offers a glimpse into college life, with classes taught by renowned professors and access to top-of-the-line technology. More information about Savannah College of Art and Design Rising Star Program and the Texas SCAD Alumni. All money is directly given to Savannah College of Art and Design for the sole use of paying the tuition of the designated "Rising 'Lone' Star" for the Rising Star program. Any unused money will be held by the SCAD scholarship department and rolled to the subsequent year's scholarship.
