Support the School and Clinic in Oku, Ghana
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Maria Rosa Black and I am travelling with a small group of 14 students and 4 teachers from St Louis, Ballymena to Oku, Ghana in June 2025.
We aim to help improve facilities in our sister school by completing a building project and providing resources for the students. We also will help support the Medical Clinic by buying much needed supplies and equipment. We need your help and donations in order to make a difference for the people of Oku.
Oku is a small rural village in central Ghana, where many of the things we take for granted are not present. Any money that you are able to donate will make an impact in the lives of the villagers and all donations will go directly to help the people living in Oku.
I am looking forward to travelling to Ghana and visiting the village of Oku, whilst I am there I hope to spend time with the local students and visit and care for the sick and housebound. I enjoy art and I’m excited to explore the culture and art within Ghana but I also hope to have a positive impact on the local community. With your help, the positive impact increases and your donation can make a positive difference for a child, young person or adult in need.
Please help by donating.
Many thanks,
Maria Rosa
