Support the Schwindt-St John Family

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to support a beloved family in the Altadena community who have recently suffered an unimaginable loss; my brother George Schwindt, his wife Meridith St John, and their children Stella and Georgie. They lost their home and everything in it to the devastating Eaton fire in Los Angeles County.

This incredible family have always been the first to lend a helping hand. George is a talented musician and former member/drummer of Flogging Molly, who also works in music publishing. He's the Dad who organizes flag football games for the kids, creating memories and laughter for so many. Meridith, with her warm smile and generous spirit, helps manage Penny Oven in Eagle Rock, has a Greek catering company, and has been working tirelessly to open a Greek restaurant and retail space. Her dream is to share her culture, nourish others with healthy meals, and bring people together.

Their kids, Stella and Georgie, are rays of sunshine in the community. Stella, with her kind heart and natural style, inspires everyone around her. Georgie, with his adorable floppy hair and football skills, never fails to bring joy. They have both been attending St Anthony's Greek School since returning to Los Angeles area in 2015.

In addition to losing their home, George’s office where he worked, was also destroyed which has severely impacted their income. Despite their own challenges, this family has always shown up for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for them.

We’re asking for your help to provide George, Meridith, Stella, and Georgie with the resources they need to stabilize their lives. Every dollar makes a difference, and your kindness will help this amazing family start anew.
