BE PART OF THE MOVEMENT THAT CHAMPIONS YOUNG WOMEN IN STEM!
Sacred Heart School Robotics team makes history as the first ever all-female Irish team to compete at the World Robotics Championship in Dallas, Texas.
Representing Ireland on the world stage is an incredible honour, but it comes with significant costs. The trip to Dallas, Texas, requires funding for travel, accommodation, and competition expenses. To ensure that The Steminists can showcase their talent and inspire future generations of girls in STEM, we are seeking support from individuals, businesses, and organisations that believe in empowering young women in technology.
Supporting our team not only invests in the future of STEM but also promotes diversity and inclusion in technology. Our program actively encourages participation from underrepresented groups through mentorship initiatives, outreach events, and partnerships with local organisations to inspire young students to explore STEM fields. By providing an inclusive environment, we ensure that all students, regardless of background, can develop their skills and confidence in technology. Your generosity will ensure that financial barriers do not stand in the way of these dedicated students achieving their full potential.
The team consists of 2 teachers, Ms Sindy Meleady & Ms Aisling Burke, and 5 students aged 12-14, travelling to represent the SHS in Dallas Texas in May 2025.
We thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for your generous contribution.
