Henry's Heart

Hi, I'm Heather Rudesill, Jenna's sister. Along with her friend & co-worker, Erin Blum, we've created this fundraiser. Please read their story below:

First time parents Brock and Jenna Sletner were thrilled to learn they were having twins. A girl, Addison and a boy, Henry.

A routine doctor's appointment revealed an issue with Henry's heart. Children's Hospital of Minneapolis did a fetal echocardiogram and diagnosed Henry with Pulmonary Atrisia. Baby Henry will need a life saving heart surgery as soon as he's born. When he is strong enough he will face a second surgery within a few months of his life and then a third surgery around the age of 3. Even with these surgeries he will require ongoing medical treatment with the possibility of a heart transplant as he grows.

Brock and Jenna are kind, caring, hardworking and generous people. As strong as they are, they could still use some help. The new family will have many expenses not covered by insurance. Things like travel for extended hospitalizations, hotel stays and unpaid leave to be by Henry's side.

Update: Addison was born 4/25/23 at 4:01pm and Henry was born 4/25/23 at 4:02pm. The babies have arrived!
