Unite for Faith: Fuel Her Medical Miracle Journey

Donation protected
Please support the Solomon family and 17 year old Faith. Faith is fighting for her life and her family is at a loss for how they will be able to afford her medical care and financially sustain themselves.

On the night of December 21, 2023, the Solomon family experienced the unthinkable. Their daughter, Faith, became incredibly ill and required emergency surgery. It was so dire that at one point the family was warned that Faith likely would not make it. Faith did survive that night, and the next. Since then, she has had several operations but she is so weak, and her condition so unstable, that she could not be moved to an operating room.

Faith's surgeries have required her to be put on a ventilator. She is connected to many machines that are keeping her life. There are IV's in all extremities. Faith's organs are in failure. She is heavily sedated, almost to the point of a medical coma.

Doctor's don't know if Faith will make it through the next few days, but if she does, they believe Faith will need to live in the hospital for months to recover. If she does recover, her quality of life will be entirely different than what it was before December 21st.

The family is heartbroken. If you are familiar with the Solomon's, you know how much they have been through and what they have already survived. You also know that Faith and her mother are survivors of severe domestic violence. They both have lifelong injuries and disabilities as a result of the violence. Throughout her short life, Faith has had 36 surgeries. She was born premature and spent the first six months of her life fighting for her life. She had three operations within four days of being born.

The Solomon family are creators of A Contagious Smile. A Contagious Smile is a bully-free, judgment-free, safe haven for survivors and for people with special needs. The family has dedicated their life to serving others. Through their several podcasts, their support dog ministry, and their step-by-step advocacy for people affected by domestic violence and/or who have special needs, they have provided hope, healing, and support for millions of people. Now they need our help.

Michael's job is not protected by FMLA and the family's income will be extremely limited during this time period. They have the same bills as the rest of us, and use what income they do have to breed, train, and donate emotional support dogs. They need our donations. Please help.

This page will be updated regularly. Please check back and share with others. And please lift this family up in prayer.

My name is Whitney, I am a friend of the Solomon's. I have created this account for them because they are at Faith's bedside, overwhelmed and afraid. All funds donated will go directly to the family.
