Please Help the Southworth Family
On the morning of April 11th, 2025, at 6:52 AM, the world welcomed a beautiful blessing, Luke Benjamin Southworth, born to his loving parents, Porter and Megan Southworth. What began as one of the most joyful days in their lives soon took a heartbreaking and unexpected turn.
Later that evening, Megan, glowing with pride and love as a new mother, began experiencing severe internal bleeding. Her blood pressure dropped dangerously low, and she was rushed into a series of emergency surgeries in a desperate attempt to locate and stop the bleeding.
Thanks to the grace of God and the incredible team at Holy Cross Mountain Point in Lehi, Megan was surrounded by skilled, compassionate doctors and nurses who worked tirelessly to save her life. In the span of just 48 hours, she was on death’s door more than once, but Megan is a fighter, and she is now making a truly remarkable recovery.
As Megan begins the long road of healing, this little family has already spent a week in the hospital, with two separate rooms needed for most of that time: one in the ICU for Megan, and one in the labor and delivery department for baby Luke. The emotional and physical toll has been immense, and so has the financial burden that comes with life-saving care. We are reaching out with humble hearts, asking for support to help lift some of the burdens weighing on the Southworth family.
And if giving financially isn't possible right now, please help by sharing this message with others. Every share brings this family one step closer to the support they need.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, kindness, and generosity. May God bless you for any help you can offer.
With love and gratitude,
The Family and Friends of Porter, Megan & Baby Luke
