Support the St. John Family After Tragic Accident
On November 8, 2024, the St. John family’s lives were forever changed by a tragic accident as they traveled home from Parris Island, where Brett St. John had just graduated as a U.S. Marine. An 18-wheeler cut them off, resulting in a devastating crash that claimed the life of Bruce St. John, a beloved father, brother, son and disabled veteran. His son Brenden (18) was critically injured and airlifted to VCU Trauma Center, where he is awaiting the first of many surgeries.
Bruce’s other children, Blake (15) and Bradley (18), were also injured and hospitalized in Emporia. They have since been released but will still require follow-up medical care as they recover from their injuries. Brett, who was following in a nearby car, thankfully sustained no injuries.
This heartbreaking loss has left the St. John family in need of support. We are raising funds to help cover Bruce’s funeral expenses and assist with medical bills, daily expenses, and the long road to recovery for his sons. Bruce was deeply loved, and the weight of his absence is immeasurable.
Brenden faces a long and challenging recovery, Blake, Bradley, Brett will need continued medical attention. Their Aunt Candice will be managing the funds to ensure that all expenses are properly covered.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on the St. John family during this devastating time. Your generosity and support mean the world as they begin to heal and rebuild their lives. Thank you.
