Support the Strike Fund for Starbucks Workers in Chile
Donation protected
Over 1,200 workers from 170 Starbucks locations across Chile began a historic strike on Friday, March 7. They are demanding better working conditions, higher wages, and affirmative hiring policies for trans workers.
The fight of Starbucks workers has the potential to become a powerful example of unity and resistance for fast food and retail workers everywhere, showing how to stand up to a multinational corporation that profits at the expense of a workforce made up mainly by young, queer and migrant workers.
While these workers struggle to make ends meet, the CEO of Starbucks was awarded nearly $100 million in total compensation in just his first four months.
We cannot allow them to be defeated due to a lack of funds. Their victory would also be a triumph for Starbucks workers in the United States, who are fighting for their first contract.
Every contribution counts!
