Help Jessica and The Stringfellow Family
Donation protected
Our neighbor and friend, Jessica Stringfellow, was in a head-on car collision in late June returning home from classes at Campbell University. She was airlifted to WakeMed Hospital with serious injuries – including four breaks in her arm, multiple facial fractures, a broken pelvis and a damaged knee. Following the hospital stay she’ll need as long as eight weeks of rehabilitation at an in-patient facility.
About Jessica
Jessica is studying for a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Campbell University. A graduate of Queens University in Charlotte, she is a long-time resident of Cary, N.C., where she attended Middle Creek H.S. Jessica has a deep love for working with children. She was a former coach of the Glenridge Gators, Preston Village Tiger Sharks and Abbington Alligators. She was working part-time coaching swimming for New Wave Swim Team at the time of the accident. She has taught countless children how to swim. Glenridge families light up when they see Jessica. She brings so much joy and warmth to everywhere she goes.
How your donation will help the Stringfellow Family
Jessica faces a long recovery and will have to take an extended leave of absence from school. At 23, Jessica is no longer a child but not a wage-earning adult. She lives with her Mom, Susan, to help keep her student debt as low as possible while she is in physical therapy school. And while she has health insurance, and the love and support of her parents, the family anticipates thousands of dollars in medical bills will not be covered.
This is the Stringfellow family’s designated GoFundMe managed by longtime neighbor and friend Kim King.
