Support the Tabaha Family Through Loss: Funeral and Beyond

Donation protected
I am Albert Tabaha Jr., part of the Tabaha family. Last night on 12/13/2024, my father Albert Sr. and Calbert Tabaha were helping fuel the van that was stranded by the side of road on the Loop 202 near Elliott Road. They were struck by a high speed Tesla while wearing safety gear near the shoulder of the road and ultimately lost their lives. My oldest brother, Delbert, was witness to the incident as he was also assisting them on scene to bear the aftermath of the incident.

We are reaching out to those in our hour of need. My mother and matriarch of our family was distraught with grief as her husband of 53 years and her son, my brother, were taken from us. My father was more than just the dad to my family, but our extended family to our families, friends and took on the fatherly role to our relatives who were seeking a father figure in their lives.

He was a week shy of his 77th birthday which was next Thursday as was the eldest of our grandparents from Hunter's Point who was a fan of rodeo, country music and automobiles. My older brother, Calbert, had his birthday was the following month and a man who enjoyed watching sports, reading Alex Cross novels and a huge dog lover.

We plead to you, to those who've read this, to help our family with anything you can as we will have to press forward with the next steps which is the funeral precessions and helping with their ongoing expenses as my brother was the sole income earner at our family home, placing a financial burden on them going forward.

Thank you in advance for all of your condolences and prayers through this trying time.
