Support the Family in Honoring Abuelo (Alberto F. Talavera)

On April 13th, Alberto Fierro Talavera, our abuelo/grandfather passed away at home just after celebrating his 85th birthday. We (Joshua, Brandon, Luis Talavera (our father) and others members of the Talavera family) are in the process of planning our grandfathers funeral. Our abuelo loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as seen in a picture of our younger selves with our cousin Breana.

Our abuelo had a passion for wood working/carpentry his whole life. A craft he continued even after losing his vision, from making wardrobes and cabinets to toy chests and chairs/benches for children of the church. Everyone knew when he was in his workshop, since you could hear his music playing from the shop. Even after putting down his tools to pick up a cup of coffee, he truly enjoyed his Ranchera and Tejano music.
