Do you have a heart?

I am writing to you today with a humble and urgent request for assistance. My family and I are currently facing a tremendous financial burden due to my need for a heart transplant, and the lifelong medical costs associated with it.

Allow me to provide some background about our situation, I survived against all odds at birth having heart correction at 2 days of age, I was given less than 10% to make it home. My second heart surgery came at 2 years old when surgeons made a valve with the walls of my heart valve to close as much as possible. I spent 75% of the first 2 years of life in a hospital, and have been seeing a Cardiologist monthly ever since. I have recently been diagnosed with congestive heart failure which has reached a critical stage. My doctors have advised us that a heart transplant is the only viable option to extend my life. The procedure is extremely costly, and the associated medical expenses post-transplant care are overwhelming.

Despite having health insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses, including co-pays, deductibles, and medications, are straining our financial resources to the breaking point. Furthermore, the impact on my family has been significant. With the extensive medical bills, we are struggling to maintain our basic needs and provide for our children's well-being. The stress and emotional toll on our family has been immense.

We are reaching out to individuals and organizations who may be able to help us financially. We humbly request your support through donations to help us cover the medical expenses associated with the heart transplant and the ongoing post-transplant care and to provide support for our family. Before Weight Loss

I lost 200 lbs on the advice of a Cardiologist, his words were Todd you will be dead in 3-5 years if you don't make a change now. Which my wife and I did without surgery or secret tricks. I guess you could say I have beaten the odds against death 3 times in my life, first, I was born with a hole in my heart and an incomplete pulmonary valve they operated on me at Fort Worth Children's at 2 days old with my odds less than 10% of going home. I had a second surgery at two years of age to make a full valve with the walls of my heart successfully beating the odds of 25% of making it. I did pass away upwards of 10 times in surgery though. Now after losing weight, they discovered the valves in my heart have weakened so my only option is a heart transplant, I'm only 40 with 2 kids and my wife, my son is 8 and my daughter is 4.
