Support the Tinnin Family for Terry F. Tinnin

The Tinnin family has suffered major losses since 2016.

Our father Wilie Tom Tinnin passed away due to cancer leaving behind his wife, our mother Carolyn Jean Tinnin who followed in 2019 due to kidney and heart failure.

It is with deep sadness that now the 1st born son, our brother, Terry Fitzgerald Tinnin has passed away on November 13th, 2023. Terry was age 54 dealing with Type 1 diabetes which had compromised his kidneys leaving him to need dialysis. It is unfortunate but Terry’s passing was due not to his Type 1 Diabetes but instead a fall in the bathroom where he hit his head and was found unconscious. The paramedics administered CPR and he was rushed to the ER where they tried multiple times to revive him and were unsuccessful. Terry leaves behind a domestic partner; Sue Smith,

3 children (in their early and late 20’s Diamond, Eric & Tamareé) and 3 siblings (El Diego Tinnin, Xavier Tinnin & Shirazette Tinnin)

Our families were just beginning to recover from grief of our parents and it is with deep sadness that we ask for help to bury our sibling, our big brother Terry Fitzgerald Tinnin. Due to financial burdens and the timing we are unable to lay his body to rest without support from our community. Until we are able to meet the funds requirement needed he will remain in the morgue until further notice.

His body is not near the funeral home and will incur charges after 10 days. We need to bring Terry home to Burlington, NC for the service.

The Tinnin family would appreciate any amount of support whether it is service in helping us sell items, clean up, funeral preparations, food donations and monetary support that will help us toward our goal of at least $8,500.

Our Goal is to have him laid to rest by the weekend of December 15, 2023.
